Every month the whole business comes together in our newly refurbished head office to share, contribute and learn from each other. We don’t only hang out in the office though; once a year the Commsave family get together for a fun-packed weekend away where everyone contributes to our strategic plan (and takes part in some fun team building activities too). And if that’s not enough, we also like to invite our extended families to a family day out – last year we had the whole of Drayton Manor Theme Park to ourselves!

At Commsave we offer a wide range of development initiatives, including professional training and mentoring opportunities, fully supporting our people to achieve the necessary qualifications, including time out of the office and funding support.
We are deeply committed to making a positive impact in our local community. Throughout the year we host a range of events to raise money for many important causes across the region with cake sales, fun runs and charity days. Our dedication extends beyond these events through our Community Fund Programme. This initiative empowers community projects to seek grants and donations that significantly contribute to their success. Just in the last 18 months alone, we have awarded over £60,000 in grants and donations and take pride in knowing that these contributions have made a tangible difference in supporting the vital work undertaken by the organisations we have been privileged to help. Our ongoing mission is to continue fostering positive change and actively contribute to improving our community.

I have worked for Commsave Credit Union for just over 2 years and it has been the most wonderful unforgettable journey so far. Very quickly I developed a strong positive relationship with the company and my colleagues which grew into some amazing friendships, Commsave offer amazing opportunities for progression which has resulted in me becoming the Senior Administrator on my department, the support that Commsave have offered and given me throughout has been phenomenal.
I am currently on a management course which has been incorporated in with my working hours, I have 7 children and the work/life balance I have is great - I am focused on the future with Commsave.
I could not ask for a better company to work for or a better place to work every day! We have also just won the ‘Customer Commitment Award’ along with ‘Employer of the year’ at the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2023.
